NEW ACCOBAMS PARTNERS

During its last Meeting (Losinji, 11-12 June), the ACCOBAMS Bureau examined new applications for partnership. The status of "ACCOBAMS Partner" was conferred to the following Organisations: Alnitak, Oceana Foundation, Souffleurs d'Ecume and WWF Mediterranean Programme Office.

This status is conferred to organisations and institutions qualified in the conservation of cetaceans and that are expected to contribute on a regular basis to the further development of policies, technical and scientific tools of the Agreement and to their application.

The Secretariat welcomes these new Partners and wishes them a profitable collaboration.
