Language: English Description of course: The course (20 credits) is primarily intended for students in the summer vacation between their final and penultimate years at university. But the course would also be accessible to enthusiastic students who are at an earlier stage, as well as suitable for graduate students with relevant background and interests. Participants can learn all about whales and dolphins, sea-turtles and seals during a university course on marine mammals and reptiles. The course is taught at the University Marine Biological Station at Millport, on the Isle of Cumbrae, and at the Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust, in Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull.
Duration: 2 weeks Facilities: Marine station with hostel, several research vessels. There is also a filed component on the Island of Mull in collaboration with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust.
