Description of course: This project is meant to offer to participants the opportunity to participate in a scientific survey by sharing life on board the research vessel and in the research center with scientists studying whales and dolphins. Participants are actively involved in specific tasks directly supervised by a scientist and participate, if possible, in the different steps of a research programme: data collection, recording data on computers, identification of cetaceans from photo-identification, possibly take biopsies or put diving devices on them, observation of cetaceans from the coast, and data analysis.
Duration: 12 days Facilities: 10m motorboat. Accommodation at the research center.
Indicative costs: €950. Special price for groups and families (2-4 people) or extended period (more than 12 days).
