Description of course: The aim of this project is to acquaint people with the sperm whale. Participants are involved in locating cetaceans by searching with binoculars and using the hydrophone, assisting in recording visual and acoustic observations. They become more informed about cetaceans and the research methods used, by being exposed to lectures, printed material and video documentaries.
Duration: 7 days Facilities: Accommodation on board the research vessel.
Conditions for participation: Age 18+; minors may be accepted if escorted by a parent or an adult delegated by the parents; must be able to swim.
